Welcome to the first newsletter of 2022. We’ve now started again after the turn of the year with what we do best, continuously developing the cloud where web services/applications are available to all users worldwide. Recently, we have introduced significant cloud services such as anycast DNS and Global LoadBalancers on the platform but have also made many tiny improvements to the my.fuga.cloud portal. For example, to work with multiple developers via teams and pay on invoices for companies.

The year is coming to an end and, we are busy wrapping things up. It’s a perfect time for an update in this newsletter. We stay busy with tutorials, how you can still earn swag, our NPS score, and a status update on Frankfurt and GAIA-X. Furthermore, Fuga Direct Connect is new and is now available to you. Lars, among others, has worked on this, and we would like to introduce him (and his hands) to you.

How was your Halloween? Didn’t it turn into a nightmare because backups weren’t good or servers went ghost? Here at Fuga we didn’t let ourselves be distracted by ghost stories but continued with what we were doing. There is little news to report in the FRA region, but developments there are progressing smoothly. We are working on our website, the Fugue Academy and of course our platform. No big news in that area right now, but that doesn’t mean we’re standing around and looking pretty.

The leaves are falling, autumn has really started, but at Fuga we are not going into a depression. On the contrary! Great weather to get behind the computer and continue developing our platform. Major steps have been taken again and luckily we can show that to you because some of them are live right now. GPU Some of you have been waiting for it for a while and eagerly awaited this moment; The High-performance GPUs are now available!

The holidays are over, but that doesn’t mean we’ve been doing nothing at Fuga these past few weeks. We have been busy with all kinds of improvements and developments. In the background and the “upcoming releases”, so keep an eye on the newsletter because nice things are coming soon. Help us improve ourselves We are only human and therefore we like to receive compliments. But we may learn even more from your questions, comments, and (constructive) feedback.

Most people celebrate vacation time, but we keep going full speed. New developments, new tutorial, fresh updates. So enough intro talk, on to the real Fun&Facts. GPU update The Beta testers have been busy and have done a great job. The prices have also been determined, so no questions left there. We will be working hard in the coming period to put the last dots on the I so we can go live with this service quickly.

For the last few months, we have been busy with our new region, AMS2. Now we have reached the point that every few weeks we have something fun to report. Serious matters but also fun facts we do not want to withhold from you. Fuga network less dependent on USA carriers We have recently optimized the Fuga network more for EU routes. A better distribution has now been chosen so that we are less dependent on US carriers.
