To our OpenStack testers:
We trust you’re still enjoying the test period of our OpenStack platform. We’re steadily approaching the moment the service will be able to go into production. In the meantime, if you have any questions and suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
This week, starting tomorrow, we’ll be performing some major maintenance and tests on the OpenStack platform. This will surely have an impact on your instances and test environment. By letting you know in advance, we hope that downtime will not come as a surprise.
The maintenance starts tomorrow, Tuesday 4 August. We’ll be performing updates of the platform which will result in short outages and restarts of your instances during the day. At the end of the day, all services should once again be operational.
On Thursday, we’ll perform all sorts of calamity and disaster recovery tests. This will result in longer downtime and decreased performance.
The work we’ll be doing this week is essential to finding possible weaknesses and flaws within the platform that may result in serious problems if we don’t properly fix them in advance.
Thanks for your attention and happy testing!
